Sometimes it can be days later after she misses her period before one will pick up the hormones. She will probably have bleeding a few days after the emergency contraceptive pill so that will not really count. It can take up to 10 days, even up to 2 weeks for an embryo to implant and she will not start producing hcg till that happens (this is also the hormone the preg test checks for). It doesn't matter the amount of fluid,(there have been cases of pregnancy from the bit of pre stuff that comes out during the act) cause all it takes is one good strong swimmer to meet the egg and 9 months later you are holding a baby.
