I lead a fairly passive polyamorous lifestyle, which for the last 4 years has been completely monogamous mostly due to the fact we live so far out in the sticks we are lucky to see another member of the same species most days (aside from each other). You know what? There have been ups and downs, and mostly we and others we have had involvement with have benefited and learned from them. No STDs have been traded. No pregnancies wanted or otherwise have occured, lives have been enhanced and not ruined, and it doesn't require a utopia either. By and large sexually, I live the dream I want right now.
